The relationship between physical activity and psychological sub-health among high altitude region Tibetan college students

Abstract: BackgroundThe reduction in moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) and the increased prominence of psychological sub-health (PSH) have had a serious negative impact on the health of Tibetan college students. Few studies have been conducted on college student populations at high altitude region in China. Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD.
