Green Jobs: Bibliometric Review

Abstract: Among the visible effects as Sustainable Development (SD) transitions from theory into practice, there are Green Jobs (GJs). There are multiple variants in naming this phenomenon in the labor market. Among them are green collars, green employment, and sustainable employment, all indicating a profound inconsistency in the GJ definition. This article aims to identify keyword-specified areas around which the topic of GJs revolves in the scientific literature indexed in the Scopus database. The usage of two method… Show more

“…Drawing upon a comprehensive review of prior research (Bhatnagar and Sharma, 2022;Ge and Zhi, 2016;Kozar and Sulich, 2023;Mohanty et al, 2023;Qin et al, 2022;Tan et al, 2021;Wu et al, 2023;Zhang et al, 2018), this study establishes bibliometric analysis as an indispensable tool for evaluating research impact and productivity. Guided by the recommendations of leading experts such as Haq and Bahit (2021), Tepe et al (2021), andHendriks et al (2019), the WoS Core Collection, specifically the Science Citation Index Expanded and the Social Sciences Citation Index, was employed for this study.…”

Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD. The current study examined the time course and magnitude of activity in threat processing brain regions during speech anticipation in socially anxious individuals and healthy controls (HC). Method Participants (SAD n = 58; HC n = 16) underwent functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) during which they completed a 90s control anticipation task and 90s speech anticipation task.

“…The Scopus database was chosen because of its quality of the data it contains and its rigor in indexing the publications included in it. In addition, the Scopus database is widely used for bibliometric research in the fields of sustainable development (Ertz and Leblanc-Proulx, 2018;Shome et al, 2023), green economics (Tamasiga et al, 2022), green development (Us et al, 2020), green labor market elements (Araújo et al, 2018;Kozar and Sulich, 2023a) and the energy sector (Sulich and Zema, 2023). The Scopus database is highly regarded among researchers.…”

“…Based on the results presented in Tables 2 and 3, the charts presenting the number of publications in Scopus were generated on the Scopus website by the selection of the results analysis option [35,69]. Search results obtained in Q1 were limited to the "energy" subject area presented in Table 3 and are results of Q2.…”
