“…For the EBP methods to remain gold standard and useful, researchers and Information Specialists have added layers of procedural sophistication at all steps of the EBP chain. Information Specialists bring unique skills to the field of evidence synthesis and there is growing recognition of the value of their contribution in identifying and managing large and diverse evidence sources [ 14 , 15 ]. Search, our example here, has moved from being modeled on a basic PICO framework run primarily in databases to one of increasingly sophisticated choices between evidence sources and search terms to describe and inform the concepts contained within search questions.…”

Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD. The current study examined the time course and magnitude of activity in threat processing brain regions during speech anticipation in socially anxious individuals and healthy controls (HC). Method Participants (SAD n = 58; HC n = 16) underwent functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) during which they completed a 90s control anticipation task and 90s speech anticipation task.
